Chief Johnson, original born and raised in fort Lauderdale Florida, been in the fire service 22 yrs, have one daughter 18yrs old, like to fish and play basketball in spare time.
Battalion Chief Jon Riedel
C-Shift
Battalion Chief Riedel has been with the Crestview Fire Department for over 15 years. He retired as a Senior Master Sergeant from the United States Air Force Fire Protection Service, after 22 years of service. He has a Bachelors Degree of Applied Sciences in Fire Management and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in General Studies and Personnel Management. He is certified by the Internation Fire Service Congress as a Fire Officer II, Fire Inspector II, Fire Instructor II and Fire Investigator II. He is certified by the National Board of Fire Service Professional Qualifications as a Fire Inspector II and Plan Examiner I. He is also certified by the State of Florida as a Certfied Firefighter, Fire Officer, Fire Instructor and Fire Inspector. He has a wife and two grown children.
