Fire Chief Joseph Traylor

  

Chief Traylor has been Fire Chief at Crestview since 1993. He is retired from the United States Air Force having completed 28 years and obtaining the rank of Chief Master Sergeant.

He has a degree in Fire Science and is certified by the International Fire Congress as a Fire Investigator 2, Fire instructor 2, Fire officer and a Fire inspector 2. He is certified by the NFPA as a Certified Fire Protection Specialist.

He is a member of the Florida Fire Chiefs, the Southeastern Fire Chief, and the International fire chiefs. He is member of the international chiefs terrorism working group. He is married and has three grown sons.
